Search the WWW for “global energy crisis” and you will see there is both a real global shortage and cost increases caused by:

  • Growing population, that is becoming more affluent, thus needs more energy.
  • Extremes of hot and cold due to climate change require more energy for buildings.
  • Oil, gas and coal reserves becoming more expensive to extract.
  • Emission restrictions making the cost of energy more expensive, including CC&S, renewables and hydrogen production.

What is not being said is that the energy production and distribution industry understand how to decarbonise the electricity grids that account at best for 20% of a nation’s energy consumption. Electricity distribution like utility scale energy production requires huge capital-intensive infrastructure that takes decades to build. 40% of a nation’s energy is in the form of liquid fuels for transport and 40% is heating gas and oils. There is no capacity to convert these energy requirements to electricity and distribute it. Producing hydrogen just means more energy is required, and its already a mature technology that has very high capital and production costs.

Most renewable energy sources are intermittent and generally unpredictable, its generally not being produced when needed. Solar and wind have low generation densities so need siting a long way from where the energy is needed. Compounding this problem you have to build three times as much conventional power generation capacity or energy storage to compensate for the intermittent nature of wind and solar farms.


Now imagine a new technology that uses the energy of sunlight / starlight that has been accumulated & stored over eons in the oxygen and hydrogen atoms in water, and can be liberated, as pure clean light energy. Water is thus a “fuel” that passes through an EnergiCell, the sunlight stored in the water is liberated in a wide range of frequencies of light. Water molecules leaving the EnergiCells are at a lower energy state than when they went in, and just go back into the environment for “recharging”, 100% renewably!

Thats why we use the slogan “Infinite Energy”, because as far as the energy requirement of the global economy is concerned, the amount of energy falling on the planet from the sun every day and being stored in many ways, including the water, is infinite. ENG8 stands for “Infinite Energy” in the ENG standing for energy and the 8 as the infinity symbol.


ENG8’s primary technology is its ability to release significant electromagnetic energy in the form of light (photons) from ionised hydrogen in a revolutionary new fuel cell, called an EnergiCell™, powered primarily by the release of photons from the hydrogen in ionised water. Hydrogen and alcohols may also be produced cost effectively in the EnergiCell™.


The business is currently headquartered in Gibraltar due to its low taxes, strong corporate governance, use of English Law, physical accessibility and technology licencing controls. The HQ / holding company intends to list its shares on a main market and via its national operating companies (NOCS).


Our clients will fall into two main categories; industrial manufacturers of products / brand sellers (OEMS) such as; domestic heaters, vehicles, power generators, etc. that need thermal, mechanical and / or electric power and their customers. ENG8 plans to sell the energy directly to the product operators such as home or car owners and pay the OEMS a commission on the energy used in the products the OEMS manufactured. This way OEMS make significantly more money on products powered by EnergiCells then they do on other products they currently manufacture so they are incentivised to adopt the EnergiCell technology as fast as possible. ENG8 will sell its energy to customers at a price lower then they pay for energy produced by hydrocarbon fuels so they are also incentivised to adopt the EnergiCell technology as fast as possible. ENG8 may launch products to initially kick start or supply certain markets, like domestic heaters, etc.


From the rough order of magnitude costings we have, we believe that ENG8 EnergiCell powered “applications” will be available at a similar capital costs to alternative power sources such as:

  • Central heating & cooling systems and hot water systems for buildings.
  • Petrol / diesel engines for cars, trucks, trains, boats and planes.
  • Power plants for producing electricity, heating and cooling and powering industrial machinery.

Operating costs will be significantly lower as the energy source is a fraction of the price of alternative energies and the repairs, maintenance and depreciation will be similar to conventional power plants.
The operating margins compared to alternative and conventional energy production will be huge. When we qualify the EnergiCell technology as a renewable energy, the capital and production incentives should make the margins greater, so we can manufacture and deploy EnergiCells faster. We will be able to discount to capture market share.

The volumes should be huge, it’s a fast growing four trillion Euro energy market, as we plan on incentivising the manufacturers of “power applications” that integrate EnergiCells into their products with a % of the energy their products consume. They should be able to double their product profit margins, no technology on Earth can do that!
