ENERGICELLS RELEASE ENERGY FROM WATER THAT IS THEN DISCHARGED INTO THE ENVIRONMENT FOR RECHARGING

ENG8’s has developed a renewable energy technology that uses water as the fuel. The energy density of water in the independently validated tests from Dec 2020 showed the energy density at 400Wh/kg water.

ENERGY DENSITY TWICE LITHIUM ION BATTERIES

Good lithium ion batteries are 200Wh/kg. We have 400Wh/kg, thats double the energy density of a good lithium ion battery, infinitely cheaper, and the water tank can be recharged in seconds, almost anywhere. No pollution!

ENOUGH POWER IN THE WATER A HOUSE CONSUMES TO POWER A HOUSE

The average household in the UK has 2.4 people living in it, and uses 8 kWh of electricity and 33 kWh of gas respectively, per day. That’s 240 litres of water per household/day = 96kWh, plenty of energy in that water to heat or cool the house! That could provide the energy for air-conditioning and heating most houses.

ENG8 believes that once in production it’s water fuelled “EnergiCells” can extract energy from water at a lower cost than you can produce energy from hydrocarbons and other energy generating technologies.

New Science and Technology

New energy technologies are rare. The last technologies developed where nuclear fission and photovoltaic cells (solar panels) which was over 70 years ago.

Experienced Research & Development Team

ENG8 has had a team of scientists and engineers in plasma technology and thermodynamics working on the solution for over five years.

New Energy Generator Releasing Energy from Water (Fuel)

The ENG8 R&D team developed within a pressurized “EnergiCell” a plasma field in water to liberate energy stored in the hydrogen atoms as light & heat. ENG8 has refined the tech over a number of years moving from a COP (Coefficient of Performance – the multiple of energy we get put out from energy we put in) of below 1 to the current position with a COP of 3 demonstrated in a laboratory environment.

The heat (steam) can then be converted into mechanical and electrical power.

The fuel (water) cost is very low and the Energicell Power Plant Costs are similar to conventional hydroicarbon fueled power plants

The EnergiCell materials and components are relatively inexpensive and simple to mass manufacture. They are expected to have capital cost comparable to the capital cost of other hydrocarbon energy generating solutions, with almost no “fuel” costs, its water.

Energy Density of Water

Theoretical density of water is between 8kWh/kg to 80MWh/kg. Diesel is 13kWh/kg.

EnergiCells powered products could be deployed relatively fast, worldwide, enabling humanity to achieve “net zero” by 2050 and reduce global energy prices.

Independent Validation

In December 2020, an EnergiCell system was built in the UK and demonstrated to Dr Robert Morgan by Dr Andrew Atkins during independent validation of the technology. Dr Morgan confirmed that the technology was demonstrating a COP of around 2, that’s 2 times thermal energy units out to electrical energy in.
Dr Atkins was so impressed he joined the company and is now the CTO.

Market

The Domestic and Industrial boiler/heater market globally was worth €58billion / annum (plus energy consumed). ENG8 will enable boiler/heater manufacturers to bring its heaters to market, with at least 10x the efficiency of existing products.

The global air conditioning systems market size is round €110billion / annum (plus energy consumed). ENG8 will enable air-conditioning manufacturers to bring its products to market, with at least 10x the efficiency of existing products and sell the customers energy.

EnergiCell powered Power Plant in Development

ENG8 is currently developing, with an engineering partner, a commercial (1m3) sized water fuelled power plant demonstrator with a COP30+. This will then be independently validated by leading universities in Europe that ENG8 is in collaboration discussions with.

With an EnergiCell COP of 3+, ENG8 is able to obtain net electrical energy output from an EnergiCell powered power plant

This power plant should be put into production within 18 months whilst an electricity and heat generator is developed with partners to power houses, charge cars, and export electricity to the grid.

We are in discussion with a leading European energy generation company to start a development and pilot heating system deployment program.

These devices could provide approximately 50% of the world’s energy demand at a lower cost than alternative power generating technology.
