ENG8 at SIMCONF2025: Showcasing the Future of Clean Energy

Earlier this month, ENG8 was pleased to join the second edition of SIM Conference 2025 (SIMCONF2025) in Porto — an inspiring gathering of startups, investors and innovation leaders from across Europe and beyond. Held at the stunning Alfândega do Porto, SIMCONF2025 brought together bold thinkers and builders committed to solving some of the world’s most pressing challenges.

    ENG8 at Future XPO

Just weeks prior, ENG8 took part in Future XPO in Aveiro, one of Europe’s leading entrepreneurship showcases, hosted by Universidade de Aveiro and Startupbootcamp Portugal. At the event, BDO Haslen Back presented the EnergiCell®, our compact, catalysed fusion system that produces more energy than it consumes — a major step forward in delivering sustainable, affordable and scalable energy solutions.

The pitch highlighted not only the technology’s realworld impact — from empowering offgrid communities to decarbonising heavy industry — but also its investment potential. The reception in Aveiro was overwhelmingly positive, laying strong groundwork for the conversations that followed in Porto.

      EnergiCell®: Driving Engagement

At SIMCONF2025, the ENG8 team — CEO Valeria Tyutina and BDO Haslen Back — engaged with a steady flow of delegates including policy advisers, founders and climatefocused investors.

Day one brought significant interest from several highprofile investors. By day two, our calendar was filled with early meetings and promising followups. Through the SIMCONF2025 app, over 500 delegates reached out — a clear indication of the appetite for bold, scienceled solutions in clean energy.

      Looking Ahead

Future XPO and SIMCONF2025 have reinforced our belief in ENG8’s mission — to deliver clean, abundant energy for all. Across both events, the interest and enthusiasm for the EnergiCell® confirmed what we’ve long known: the world is ready for a new era in energy.

Couldn’t join us in Aveiro or Porto?
      We’d still love to connect.

To our hosts, our partners and everyone who took the time to speak with us — thank you. Though the conferences have concluded, our journey is far from over.
